Your privacy at the table.
A plain-language notice for the current public beta. Updated 28 October 2026.
Who runs the game
Satat Online is an independent project operated by Sujay in Mauritius. Contact the developer at the email address below for support and privacy requests.
Information used to run a table
The game uses your nickname, selected character, room code, seat, connection status and game actions to run matches and reconnect you. Your cards and a random reconnect token are stored on the game server. Other players can see your nickname, character and public play, but the game does not send them your reconnect token or hidden hand.
Table chat is sent to the table’s participants and displayed briefly. The application does not keep a chat history. Please use a nickname and avoid sharing personal information in chat.
Public table listing is optional. Listed waiting tables expose their room code and occupancy so other players can join. Private and solo games are not listed. Public directory entries expire after about 130 seconds without renewal.
What your browser remembers
Local storage remembers your nickname, character, sound setting, solo bot difficulty and reconnect details. A random browser identifier prevents multiple tabs from inflating the lobby count; active lobby presence expires after about 100 seconds without renewal. It also stores your table display preferences, personal match statistics, achievement badges and cosmetic unlocks. Progress stays on this browser and device; it is not uploaded or used for public rankings. This version has no advertising or analytics trackers installed by the game.
You can clear these settings below. This removes your ability to rejoin using saved credentials, so finish or leave your match first.
Hosting and other providers
Cloudflare hosts the game and processes network information such as IP addresses and request metadata for delivery, security and diagnostics. The site currently loads its fonts from Google Fonts, which receives the network information needed to serve them. These providers may process information outside Mauritius.
See Cloudflare’s privacy policy and Google’s privacy policy.
Why information is used and how long it stays
Information is used to provide the game you request, remember essential settings, prevent abuse and diagnose faults. It is not sold by this project. Room player data is cleared when a room closes; its remaining stored record is scheduled for deletion after about one hour. Matches abandoned by everyone have a short reconnect window; inactive unclosed lobby rooms are normally removed after about 24 hours. Browser settings remain until you clear them. Hosting diagnostics have separate retention under the provider’s settings and policies.
Support payments and ads
No payment collection or advertising is active in this version. If you choose to visit an external support provider later, its privacy policy will apply there. The developer may receive payment records from that provider, but card details will not be collected by this game. This notice and any required privacy choices will be updated before advertising is enabled.
Your choices and rights
You can leave a table, clear this site’s saved browser data, and request access, correction or deletion of personal information, or raise an objection where applicable. Email the developer at the address above. You may also contact the Mauritius Data Protection Office.
